Hello, my name is April. I am a superhero librarian, reader, writer, and book addict with a Bachelor’s in Creative Writing and a Master’s in Library Science. I am crazy about good writing, vivid worlds, and strong characters.
If you have any questions, free feel to leave a comment or to e-mail me at inspector.librarian@gmail.com. If you would like to send me a book to review, please go to my Request a Review page.
As a librarian and a book lover, I have amazingly eclectic taste and will read basically anything I can get my hands on. As a result, my reviews will be all over the place in terms of likes and dislikes. My favorite genres include Fantasy, Science Fiction, Graphic Novels, Young Adult Fiction, Dystopian Futures, Gay Fiction/Romance, Urban Fantasy, Horror, and Scandinavian Mysteries. My list of favorites authors is ridiculously long but includes Terry Pratchett, Angela Carter, Maria Ranier Rilke, Rumi, H. P. Lovecraft, Robert B. Parker, Ian Fleming, and P. G. Wodehouse.
The title CSI: Librarian comes from the fact that I used to despair over all the CSI shows coming out. I used to joke that eventually there would even be a CSI: Your Backyard. But I wouldn’t want to blog about Your Backyard or My Backyard for that matter. Instead this blog will be for book reviews, bookish thoughts, and a deeper look into one librarian’s life-long addiction to reading and subsequent madness.

You are such a good writer. I feel like you’re British when I’m reading this for some reason. Maybe that’s because you have little in common with the dafte Americans.
I love this quote: “I am a superhero {scratched} librarian, writer and book addict. LOL.
I just subscribed. Please RTF at http://VampireReview.blogspot.com. I’ll be sending you a private email as well.
