Bloggiesta Button Mini-Challenge

There were a lot of mini-challenges for Bloggiesta, and it took me awhile to find one that I wanted to do. Eventually I settled on Designing Your Own Buttons/Banners from SMS Book Reviews.

To make a button, I ended up using Adobe Photoshop CS2 on my Macbook rather than internet-based tools. I like how everything turned out for the most part:

I need to get a better and more book-related image eventually both in terms of the button and my banner. Ah well. I found it useful to learn how to do the coding for a text box, and all of this will also come in handy when I decide to make some Reading Challenges of my own later in the year. Ole!

About April

I'm a librarian, reader, and writer whose main goal in life is to be able to swim in books the way Scrooge McDuck swims in money. Although my reading choices will always be wildly eclectic and I never plan on leaving any genre unexplored, my favorite reads tend to be Fantasy, Young Adult, Science Fiction, Gay Romance, or Historical Fiction. That looks great! Don’t forget to alter your code though, it just says “your web address” and such. Thanks for trying my mini-challenge.
