RT Book Reviews – April 2011 Picks

I love how early this magazine arrives here at the library!

Here’s the ones I’m eager to get my hands on that will be released in April. And this by no means even scratches the surface of all the books this issue of RT Book Reviews actually included.

If you’re interested in any of the titles, be sure to click on the covers and go to GoodReads!

Historical Romance:
Claimed by the Highlander (Highlander Trilogy #2) by Julianne MacLean   Highlander's Curse (Daughters of the Glen #8) by Melissa Mayhue   The Return of Black Douglas by Elaine Coffman  To Be Queen: A Novel of the Early Life of Eleanor of Aquitaine by Christy English   The Vampire Voss (Regency Draculia #1) by Colleen Gleason

At some point I’m going to just do a Highlander Month. Maybe in April? I think it would be hilarious and fun.

Mystery, Suspense, & Thriller:
Night of the Living Dandelion: A Flower Shop Mystery (A Flower Shop Mystery #11) by Kate Collins

Scandalous Women: The Lives and Loves of History's Most Notorious Women by Elizabeth Kerri Mahon

Paranormal Romance:
Seaborne by Katherine Irons

Science Fiction/Fantasy:
Mermaid: A Twist on the Classic Tale by Carolyn Turgeon  Tiassa (Vlad Taltos #13) by Steven Brust

Ye-ah. Tiassa is wishful thinking on my part. I’m really far behind on that series, but it’s worth mentioning at least.

Teen Scene:
Enclave (Razorland #1) by Ann Aguirre   Family by Micol Ostow   The Liar Society (Liar Society #1) by Lisa Roecker  Rage (The Horseman of the Apocalypse: The Rider's Quartet #2) by Jackie Kessler

What books are you looking forward to reading in April?

About April

I'm a librarian, reader, and writer whose main goal in life is to be able to swim in books the way Scrooge McDuck swims in money. Although my reading choices will always be wildly eclectic and I never plan on leaving any genre unexplored, my favorite reads tend to be Fantasy, Young Adult, Science Fiction, Gay Romance, or Historical Fiction. 1. Tiassa looks amazing! I’ve not hear of that one before. But I think I’m going to have to look into it. 🙂 Thanks and hope you have a wonderful week.
