My Book Boyfriend #7

My Book Boyfriend is a weekly meme hosted by The Unread Reader where readers can swoon over boys in books every Wednesday!

Today’s Book Boyfriend is… Arren from the Fallen Moon series by K.J. Taylor.

A Decent Likeness of My Book Boyfriend:

His hair probably isn’t dark enough, but Henry Cavill works for me.

Henry Cavill as Arren Henry Cavill as Arren

My Book Boyfriend Stats:

  • Full Name: Arenadd Taranisai
  • Age: early 20s
  • Griffiner
  • Northerner
  • Has no heart. Literally.

What Led to Massive Crushing:

Just reading about his difficulties and his adventures with his dark griffin Skandar was enough to result in a massive crush. Plus Arren really falls in love easily and cares deeply for people. He is usually the first to admit his mistakes, and is just really earnest and giving despite the fact that most people in his world consider him to be a villain or at least a major anti-hero.

And he has a griffin, which is just plain awesome.

About April

I'm a librarian, reader, and writer whose main goal in life is to be able to swim in books the way Scrooge McDuck swims in money. Although my reading choices will always be wildly eclectic and I never plan on leaving any genre unexplored, my favorite reads tend to be Fantasy, Young Adult, Science Fiction, Gay Romance, or Historical Fiction. Has no heart? Very interesting. I’m the type that just wants to put a bubble around my fic boys that fall in love easily. Even if they don’t have a heart, I don’t want someone to break it.

And I think Henry works nicely too.

  2. Holy crow. That smoldering-eyes and sexy-curls one is just droolworthy…

Mmmm….I don’t know him yet, but I’d sure like to! Yummy!
