Teaser Tuesdays #7

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!

My Teaser:A Local Habitation (October Daye #2) by Seanan McGuire

“Have you ever heard of someone killing a Selkie and not stealing their skin? Because I haven’t.” – pg. 89, A Local Habitation by Seanan McGuire

I’m really enjoying the second October Daye book so far, which is a good thing since I just received signed copies of both of its sequels from My Bookish Ways‘s giveaway and Seanan McGuire. 🙂

Hmm, haven’t read a book with Selkies for a while, maybe I should check this series out…

My teaser is here, if you want to take a look:http://tinyurl.com/5w8rlt8

    • Selkies are just basically merfolk crossed with seals. They wear a skin when they’re in the water and take it off when they’re on land. They’re fun. 🙂

      Cool. I’ll check it out.

Great teaser. I think I’ve got the first book in the series somewhere I will have to dig it out.
