Teaser Tuesdays #16

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!
Dead on the Delta
My Teaser:
“So much for avoiding responsibility. But in the grand scheme of things, how much trouble can a cat be?” – pg. 28, Dead on the Delta by Stacey Jay

I’m enjoying this book a lot, but the fact that it is present tense is a bit distracting. I’m used to first person, of course. I just I don’t really read a lot of books set in present tense.

What are your Tuesday reads? If you have any Teasers, feel free to link me to them in a comment!

About April

I'm a librarian, reader, and writer whose main goal in life is to be able to swim in books the way Scrooge McDuck swims in money. Although my reading choices will always be wildly eclectic and I never plan on leaving any genre unexplored, my favorite reads tend to be Fantasy, Young Adult, Science Fiction, Gay Romance, or Historical Fiction. I do like your teaser 🙂
I love the cover of the book too. It’s the sort of cover that makes you pick up the book so you can read the back as you’re intrigued by the picture on the front. And I am. Intrigued, that is. Must investigate this one, so thanks.

    Here’s mine:
