Highlights from the Book Horde #33

My own weekly meme where I list some of the awesome books I bought, received in the mail, or checked out of the library. This week I received so many amazing books in the mail that I’m not going to bother with mentioning anything else! I also love how most of these books have a red, white, and black theme going on.

In the Mail:

Absolute Midnight (Abarat 3) by Clive Barker  An ARC of Abarat: Absolute Midnight by Clive Barker from Harper Collins. Comes out September 27th. I think I’ll probably have to re-read the first two books first, but I cannot wait to read this!

Bloodlands (Bloodlands Trilogy #1) by Christine Cody Chosen By Blood (Para-Ops, #1) by Virna DePaul  Review copies of Bloodlands by Christine Cody (July 26th) and Chosen by Blood by Virna DePaul (July 7th) from Penguin.

When She Woke by Hillary Jordan   An ARC of When She Woke by Hillary Jordan from Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill. Comes out on October 4th.

With No Remorse (Black Ops, #6) by Cindy Gerard  Review copy of With No Remorse by Cindy Gerard from Pocket Star Books/Simon & Schuster.

What books did you get this week?

About April

I'm a librarian, reader, and writer whose main goal in life is to be able to swim in books the way Scrooge McDuck swims in money. Although my reading choices will always be wildly eclectic and I never plan on leaving any genre unexplored, my favorite reads tend to be Fantasy, Young Adult, Science Fiction, Gay Romance, or Historical Fiction.
