Cool Trailers for September Books

I tried to resist the impulse, but I can’t. I simply have to share these two book trailers. I cannot believe how perfect both of them are, and if they don’t entice at least a few people to read these two books, I don’t know what will.

Abarat: Absolute Midnight by Clive Barker (HarperCollins, September 27) – If I hadn’t already been dying for this book, this trailer would have killed me from how awesome it is. You can also download a copy of trailer if you go to Clive Barker’s website.

A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness (Candlewick Press, September 27) – I’m a broken record, but this is seriously one of the best books I’ve read in a long time so I can’t bring myself to keep mentioning it at any given opportunity. Go here to read my review.

(Note: The book trailer is in German. But whether you speak the language or not, the trailer is definitely worth watching for the amazing animation of Jim Kay’s artwork. And the over all feel of it as well.)

About April

I'm a librarian, reader, and writer whose main goal in life is to be able to swim in books the way Scrooge McDuck swims in money. Although my reading choices will always be wildly eclectic and I never plan on leaving any genre unexplored, my favorite reads tend to be Fantasy, Young Adult, Science Fiction, Gay Romance, or Historical Fiction.
