Teaser Tuesdays #26

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish event hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!

A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R. R. MartinMy Teaser:
“My mind is my weapon. My brother has a sword, King Robert has his warhammer, and I have my mind… and a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge.” – pg. 103, A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin

I love that quote/sentiment almost as much as I love Tyrion Lannister. As for the book itself… It’s both a blessing and a curse but starting this series again has really made it difficult for me to want to do anything else. Which makes the fact that my time was all kinds of limited this past weekend all the more frustrating.

What are your Tuesday reads? If you have any Teasers, feel free to link me to them in a comment!

About April

I'm a librarian, reader, and writer whose main goal in life is to be able to swim in books the way Scrooge McDuck swims in money. Although my reading choices will always be wildly eclectic and I never plan on leaving any genre unexplored, my favorite reads tend to be Fantasy, Young Adult, Science Fiction, Gay Romance, or Historical Fiction.
