Teaser Tuesdays #28

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish event hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along!

My Teaser:
Empire in Black and Gold (Shadows of the Apt, #1) by Adrian Tchaikovsky I wish I had Tisamon here. Stenwold used to fear nothing when walking in Tisamon’s shadow. – pg. 74, Empire in Black and Gold by Adrian Tchaikovsky

So far the world-building had been the best part of reading, but I’m throughly engaged and eager to continue.

I am also about 100 pages away from finishing Beautiful Days by Anna Godbersen, but since it is an ARC that Harper Teen was kind enough to send me, I can’t really quote it. I can say that it has been really enjoyable so far. I love me some well-written historical fiction.

What are your Tuesday reads? If you have any Teasers, feel free to link me to them in a comment!

About April

I'm a librarian, reader, and writer whose main goal in life is to be able to swim in books the way Scrooge McDuck swims in money. Although my reading choices will always be wildly eclectic and I never plan on leaving any genre unexplored, my favorite reads tend to be Fantasy, Young Adult, Science Fiction, Gay Romance, or Historical Fiction. 1. Great teaser! Thanks for sharing. If you get a chance, my teaser is here.

  2. Nice teaser. I’ve heard from another who just recently read this one as well that the beginning wasn’t drawing him in like he had thought. But stuck with the book and really enjoyed it not to long after. Hope you enjoyed this one. 🙂
