Highlights from the Book Horde #49

Highlights from the Book Horde is a weekly post where I list the awesome books I’ve bought, borrowed, received in the mail, or checked out of the library.

In the Mail:
Control Point (Shadow Ops, #1) by Myke Cole  Undone Deeds (Connor Grey, #6) by Mark Del Franco  Review copies of Shadow Ops: Control Point by Myke Cole (January 31) and Undone Deeds by Mark Del Franco (January 31) from Ace/Penguin.

(Control Point has been really great so far. And I think tan with hints of red and orange and lightning bolts could be a pretty cool cover trend.)

From the Library:
Cinder by Melissa Meyer
Lothaire by Kresley Cole
Rook by Daniel O’Malley
Star Wars: Darth Plaugeis by James Luceno

About April

I'm a librarian, reader, and writer whose main goal in life is to be able to swim in books the way Scrooge McDuck swims in money. Although my reading choices will always be wildly eclectic and I never plan on leaving any genre unexplored, my favorite reads tend to be Fantasy, Young Adult, Science Fiction, Gay Romance, or Historical Fiction. You can e-mail me at inspector[dot]librarian[at]gmail[dot]com.
